Does Guitar Hero encourage or discourage kids from learning musical instruments?
I’ve watched my 13 yr old who plays guitar and bass and my 10 yr old who plays drums both improve greatly in their timing, dexterity and hand eye coordination from playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band. They both also now have the same desire to do as well on their real instruments as they were able to achieve on the game systems.
