Does Group Net Send work with Windows Vista, Windows 2008 or Windows 7?
We have tested Group Net Send on Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 2008 and Windows 7 and Group Net Send the software does not work. Microsoft has removed the Messenger Service from the set of Microsoft services is adds by default to the operating system system. The Messenger Service is the protocol for which Group Net Send uses to transport its message data. Without this service, our Group Net Send will not work. Thanks a lot Microsoft. You might be wondering why did Microsoft remove Net Send ability in Windows Vista, Windows 2008 and Windows 7? They claim it was for security reasons. The Messenger Service protocol could be used to spam users by sending “net send” messages which appear as message text boxes on the receiving end computer. The winpopup protocol does not have any authentication or security, which allows pop up windows to obstruct users desktops on windows.
