Does granite material have to be sealed?

0

• Our material is not required to be sealed in the factory and is not sealed by our installers but it is recommended that it be sealed by the end user. It is prudent to wait until all trades are finished and there is little or no debris in the air before sealing the granite. It is not wise to seal granite at time of installation. Granite must be clean before sealant is applied. We do offer sealing services for an additional fee. It is recommended as good maintenance to seal the stone after installation and once a year thereafter.
