Does graduation from the Mortuary Science Program allow me to receive a license in any state?
Prior to graduation, the student must take the National Board Examination (NBE). Once a student has successfully passed the NBE, and fulfills the requirements of a Traineeship, you are eligible to become licensed in the State of Illinois. Each state has specific requirements as to licensure; therefore, it is the responsibility of the student (graduate) to research these requirements.
