Does Google Calendar change the manner in which the information is entered into the calendar?
A. You will be able to create meetings, invite people to them, book rooms/projectors and see when the people you are inviting are available. You can share your calendar with someone else and access their calendar if they share with you. You can mark meetings as private and overlay someone else’s calendar onto yours. You can do all of this using the web client, which will look different to Outlook but will have a similar feel. Q. I currently share someone else’s calendar and need to be able to see/edit items on there. Can I do that with Google Calendar? A. Yes. Someone can share their calendar with you by adjusting the calendar’s sharing options in Settings. They can give you no access, view-only access, or full access. Q. Can I still use Gmail if I do not have access to the internet? (e.g. While using a laptop away from the office)? A.Yes. Gmail and Google Calendar can be used offline. Offline Mode for Google Docs will be coming in 2011. COMMON CONCERNS Q. Will anyone lose their job? A
