Does GoodLink support beaming of contacts?
Currently, GoodLink does not support the beaming of contacts. Many customers have requested the ability to beam contacts and save them in GoodLink. We spoke with several customers about this feature, and they require a new policy be put in place which enables the IT administrator to turn this functionality off (disable beamed contacts to be saved to GoodLink). This is due to potential security risks of viruses or corrupted data bypassing the enterprise firewall security system that handles all other Microsoft Outlook data. Therefore, we are implementing that IT policy now and it will be released within one calendar year.
