“Yes” and “yes”. Notice the quotation marks. It appears that Big Godzilla does die BUT the fate of Little Godzilla is unknown. Toho has stated that they will stop making Godzilla movies for now but around the turn of the century, they will continue the Godzilla movies with Little Godzilla as the lead. [UPDATE: Toho has announced they WILL be making a new Godzilla movie, due out in December of 1999. For more information, go HERE.] Q: OH NO!! No new Godzilla movies! What will I do! A: Wait for the Mothra movie due out on December 14, 1996.
