Does GLASS-GARD work well with alarms?
GLASS-GARD when used with certain glass break detector alarms or shock sensors, is optimal. If a potential perpetrator attempts to break in via the window or glass door area, the alarm can be tripped, therefore adding an element of shock to the burglar by already being detected without having gained access. Repeated attempts create more noise and take more time. Since most smash and grabs take place in mere minutes the resultant time delay and noise factor is generally sufficient to scare off most would be thieves in favor of easier targets.
