Does Glasgow Print Studio organise artist exchanges?
Yes. Glasgow Print Studio has a fairly active Artists Exchange Programme. Exchanges can be organised with similar organisations anywhere in the world. At this end, we are often able to gain financial support from Glasgow City Council to support artists use of our workshop, accommodation expenses and a small per diem allowance (for food etc.); whilst the British Council will often cover travelling expenses. This, however, is usually dependent on such financial support being matched at the other end. We have around 200 workshop artist members who would normally be invited to submit a proposal for consideration on the exchange, a selection being made usually either by ourselves or by our exchange partners, depending on the nature of the exchange.
