Does Giraffe Laugh Take Field Trips?
There are a few annual trips that are standard for us such as the annual Halloween Parade, a trip to the Pumpkin Patch and a trip to the Zoo. Most field trips will be announced in advance in the newsletter but occasionally an opportunity will arise last minute that is too good to pass up. Giraffe Laugh does not have a vehicle for field trips therefore, we rely on parents to provide transportation to and from field trips and to act as chaperones. If your child is required to use a car seat, please label it and leave it at the center for field trip day. Children must be 7 years or 70 lbs. to be out of a car seat. Seatbelts are always used on all children. There is sometimes a minimal cost for these field trips, if this should be a burden, please notify the Executive Director or one of the Assistant Directors at either center and scholarships are available.
