Does Gila Ridge provide bus transportation?
We believe that bus transportation is a privilege that we provide for students who live more than 1 1/2 miles from school. Students must present the Gila Ridge High School I.D. to board the bus and must comply with all of the bus driver’s regulations. A student that fails to comply may lose his/her bus privileges. • Students will obey the instructions of the bus driver at all times. • Students are to remain seated while the bus is in motion. • Students will not use profane or offensive language. • No use of tobacco products on the bus. • Students will not create loud noises, disruptions or disturb others. • Students will not throw or shoot any object inside of or at the bus, or at other passengers. • Students will conduct themselves in an orderly manner at all times. • Students will not bring any unauthorized item on the bus (skateboards, pets, food, beverages other than water, etc.). • Students will not hang any part of their body outside of the window.
