Does getting the braces on hurt?
At first, after they have been fitted, it will hurt and ache a lot and you will find it very hard to bite things and your mouth will very full. However after a few days/ a week you will grow used to it and they will no longer hurt. After this they will only ever hurt one you get them tightened or get elastics put in. However other things such as olcers and cuts in your mouth due to braces can occur and obviously this will hurt. When i had my braces my wire wasnt cut properly and cut the back of my mouth a lot, so if you ever feel like something is wrong tell your orthodontist !!!!!
