Does getting Progesterone shots during pregnancy have side effects?
I was on progesterone suppositories for the first trimester. A common side effect is that progesterone will slow down your digestion – so cramping, abdominal pressure and changes in your bowel movements is normal . . . Since it is the same hormone . . . it is probably the same for the shot and it might even be a bit more intense because I think that the injections might be a higher dosage.
