Does Georgetown have groups based on common interests, as well as regions and class years?
Yes, we’re developing programs and services based on alumni social and career interests. Among the alliances we have so far are: • The Wall Street Alliance, which connects alumni working on Wall Street or in the financial services industry. Contact the Wall Street Alliance; • The African American Advisory Board, which provides activities for and advises the university on behalf of African Americans; • GEMA — the Georgetown Entertainment and Media Alliance — for alumni working in those fields; and • The Latin American Alliance, which provides a forum for alumni who are Latin American or who have interests in Latin America. Contact the Latin American Alliance.
