At this time FurBuy does not have a secure server for handling encrypted data transmission. We have an SSL-capable webserver and would like to offer this feature, however the costs of obtaining SSL certificates from VeriSign in order to become a trusted SSL site are quite costly. They typically cost between $250 and $500 to register, but we will not be able to obtain funds to purchase such a certificate while the system is not commercial.
