Does Freedom of Speech not exist anymore?

The consitution would not apply, since there is no law calling for those people to be fired because of their statements. If they were arrested and sent to jail that would be one thing. Being fired is simply a company making decisions in their best interest. Campaigns are essentially like companies. In these two cases though, it’s more about politics than free speech. Each side is looking for any little bit to use against the other side. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences of your statements/actions. It simply means that you are free to do it without fear of prosecution.
