Does ford make a non commercial f700?
The F700 is a towing a hauling beast . The way to get away from this is to go with F-350 or f-450 . I own 2 commercial trucks that are below CDL and Truck tags . They are under 8000 pounds empty (7100 for 14ft box on E-350 chassis and 7210 for 12 foot box on GMC35 van )so I don’t have to get weighed when passing weight station and they both have NON-Commercial plates ($85) because these a used for personal RECREATION and picking up building materials . I do have to carry Commercial insurance policy for the trucks but its $45 a month with 3 drivers . Did have a small problem with getting commercial insurance with out Business but have gone thru Nationwide for past 1 1/2 and no trouble with being hassled about tags or insurance choice .
