Does FlexRadio remain committed to cross platform development for future versions of FlexRadio PowerSDR?

0

Yes. Our strategic goal is to make future versions of FlexRadio PowerSDR, so far as practical, operating system independent. It may not be prudent to attempt this at the Graphical User Interface (GUI) level because that would require using the least common denominator for visual presentation. However, we plan to move virtually all of the radio control code (i.e. a virtual radio) to a cross platform, distributed environment. This is a major undertaking that will most likely take a calendar year to complete to a level that is ready for official release. Certainly, SVN alpha versions will be available on a daily basis as they always have been. In the mean time, the FLEX family of software defined radios will have the advantage of a very stable FlexRadio PowerSDR software platform developed and field proven over the last four years. That means that new customers will be able to count on a proven official release of FlexRadio PowerSDR, while those can experiment and play with the latest alp
