Does Flexicose have any side effects?
Flexicose is very well tolerated by almost everybody. One should not take Flexicose if you are allergic to shellfish, pregnant or nursing. Always inform your doctor of every drug and supplement you are taking to minimize possible interactions. Glucosamine is considered generally very safe and there have been no reported major side effects in the twenty years glucosamine has been studied. It is important to note that COX-2 drugs (Celebrex) and NSAIDs have a long track record of very harmful side effects – including stroke, heart attack, gastrointestinal bleeding, even death. Plus, a recent landmark study done by the NIH (National Institutes of Health) showed that the same kind of glucosamine found in Flexicose was at least as effective as Celebrex – with FAR fewer side effects.
