Does fitting the cruise require the bike to be modified?

0

Virtually all our kits require only a small modification to the inside face of the clutch master cylinder clamp to be fitted to the motorcycle. In kits labelled as ‘plug & play’ there is no modification required to the wiring loom on the bike. There is no cutting of wires or soldering. On kits not labelled ‘plug & play’ the installer will need to cut the cruise control wires to length and crimp terminals to the loom. On BMW motorcycles it is necessary to cut wires on the bike only because BMW terminals are unobtainable or unaffordable. While our cruise works exceptionally well on these bikes, please ensure you fully understand the installation requirements and process before purchase. Email us and we will send a pdf file of the full instructions so you can properly assess the task on your bike before purchase.
