Does First American have electronic interfaces available to order and receive flood zone determinations?
First American offers various existing interface options, and we are prepared to develop new and custom solutions for our clients. We are continually building new interfaces to further expand our wide range of connectivity options. Some of our already established interfaces include real-time XML/SOAP interface technology, WebDav (an Internet-based interface) and more common FTP (regular, secured and dial-up) interface options, which is the most common way of connecting to us. We support numerous forms of data exchange, including traditional EDI using X.12 standards, and First American processes flood determination requests daily over a Value Added Network (VAN). Transmissions include various fixed and variable record formats transmitted over public and private networks and direct dialup. In addition to providing custom interfaces, our services are available through the Ellie Mae ePASS Business Center, Fannie Mae DU Connections, Ocwen RealTrans, and Alltel InterChange to name a few.
