Does Final Scratch also have a MIDI clock output to sync Ableton to?

Not yet, the next revision will hopefully include a MIDI clock. Originally I was using another MIDI beat converter to convert the records to control through Ableton, but it wasn’t that good so now I’m using the BPM on cycloops and use this to set the Ableton tempo. There is a new box coming out from Korg in three months, a new electribe box, which has an auto-sensing beat counter from the records, and then transfers it to MIDI out. This looks like it could be fun’ You have quite a track record in experimenting and innovating turntables, like the dual pickup system on the Concept remix, the Final Scratch and now the CTRL concept. What’s the next step? I just saw that there was a new announcement from Technics saying that they where releasing a completely digital turntable, the SL1200DZ, which is exactly like a 1210 but totally digital. I think it’s cool we’re using Final Scratch and digital technology that mimic turntables, and this is one of the reasons we made the CTRL interface – I’m
