Does FileCenter require any new hardware?
In most cases FileCenter does not require any new hardware. Because it uses the Windows file system as its back end, overlaying your existing directory structure, it does not add any server load. In fact, it is generally not necessary to even install FileCenter on your server. Because FileCenter does not require any dedicated hardware or software, in most cases it is up and running in a matter of minutes. The only exception to this rule has been offices which have added or upgraded their scanning hardware to handle higher volumes of scans in their paperless office efforts.
