Does FHP facilitate expert opinion/referrals when the need arises?
Yes. Our `Patient Care Services’ is headed by a General Physician (GP) whose opinions are valuable in terms of the precise diagnosis of the ailment and in endorsing/modifying the treatment extended to the patients. Most of the patients are routed through the said GP and in cases where GP could not visit the patient, other members of the PCS would visit the patient and facilitate the GP in respect of the second opinion. Presently, every FHP patient-member admitted in any of the Chennai hospitals is being visited by our PCS team to assure comfort and qualitative healthcare to the patient.
