Does fenugreek make the contraceptive pill ineffective?
Ive had a quick look around online and it can cause absorption problems if taken at the same time as other meds. Ive found nothing that specifically states it interacts with the pill, but its known to help milk production in breast feeding women, and there is some mention of testosterone, but cant remember which website. I would check first,as if it has an effect on milk production, there could be some connection to hormones, so may well interact. Like I said though, I couldnt find ay specific interaction details between fenugreek and the pill, but maybe check with your gp first. It does interact with certain drugs so if you are on any other drugs, its best to check with your gp first.
