Does FEMA have firefighting equipment?
No, FEMA does not provide firefighting equipment to State and local governments. A State can request equipment through the National Interagency Fire Center and National Interagency Coordination Center. FEMA will provide reimbursement for equipment and supplies under a declared fire. Eligible costs associated with equipment and supplies are addressed under 44 CFR ยง 204.41 (b).
