Does Feeling Good Equal Spiritual Maturity?
New Christians have the challenge of soaking in tons of information from every direction as to how they will know that they have become mature spiritually. There are many styles of worship and each person relates in a different way. There will be some evident signs that can help you determine how far you’ve come and where you need to be. 1. Do you have to feel good to feel spiritual? Praise music is a wonderful thing, but the hymns of old should not be forgotten. Both styles of music were written by people who poured out their souls to God. There are stories behind each. There will be days when you are not happy but can still have joy in the Lord. 2. Does speaking in tongues and being slain in the spirit make a person more spiritual than one who has not experienced it?
