Does FCS teach doctrine in Bible class?

It is impossible to teach the Bible without teaching doctrine. For example, Genesis 1:1 is the doctrine of creation. FCS teaches Biblical doctrines, and we evaluate all spiritual teaching according to the Bible. The K3 K5 classes emphasize the Bible teachings of who God is and his love for us, especially as expressed through the Lord Jesus Christ. The 1st 6th grades emphasis the Bible stories, facts and characters. The 7th 12th grades emphasize applying Biblical truth to our lives in salvation, Christian living, and holding the Biblical worldview. Because FCS is an educational ministry of the Mission Blvd. Baptist Church, we do teach the Bible from the historic Baptist perspective. FCS has had the privilege to have students of many faiths in our program. While we respect the right of others to hold different beliefs, FCS teaches and upholds the historic Baptist viewpoint.
