Does FastPictureViewer has a slide show function?
Yes and no. A slideshow typically involves nice artistic transitions between images, music etc and as such FastPictureViewer does not have a slideshow function. It has, however, a configurable automatic advance mode (auto advance is enabled/disabled by pressing the A key on the keyboard) which, as its name implies, changes the current image automatically at used defined interval. The adjustment range goes from 30 images per second to 1 image per hour, with many intermediate values in between. Of course the fastest advance mode can only be attained with sufficiently small images and a sufficiently fast computer. The default advance mode it set to 1 image per second. The program also has an option to “wrap around”, or rewind, the image list when reaching the end. This cause the program to display images endlessly in a loop.
