Does FAST LANE give warnings for first time violations?
All violations of the FAST LANE Program regulations and/or terms and conditions will result in a violation notice sent to the registered owner of the vehicle. Prior to February 27, 2009, FAST LANE did issue warnings for first time violators. First time offenders who feel the violation was sent in error or the circumstances should be reviewed are encouraged to appeal. The appeal may lead to the dismissal of the $50 fine and require you to pay the original toll plus a violation administrative fee. You will be billed for the amount due after your appeal has been accepted; please do not include any payment with your appeal.
