Does Fairport Computers offer on-site repair service?
A. Yes, the general cost for a home visit is $65 hour; with a one hour minimum. For business the change is $85 hour with a one hour minimum. Unlike most companies there is never a travel charge or on-site fee. For most customers; a credit card is required to schedule an on-site appointment. Fairport Computers no longer accepts personal check. Q. My computer is infected with spyware and/or viruses, can this be done on-site? A. Yes, but most spyware and/or virus infection removal can take from hours to days to completely remove the infection. It is more cost effective to bring the system in to the retail store or take advantage of our system pickup/delivery service. Pickup and delivery of the system has a basic charge of $30. The actual repair cost, in addition to the delivery pickup/delivery cost, will be based on work require and parts, if needed.
