Does FactNet contain optimization capabilities?
FactNet 5.0 contains a powerful optimization system. Most optimization packages suffer from the same weakness – they assume that the input variables are independent. What good is an optimization which says that, to maintain paper quality, the furnish freeness must decrease by 15 ml and the long fiber must increase by 5 units. The FactNet Optimizer quantifies the interrelationships among the input variables and includes these in the results. As a result, the optimization is more accurate and achievable.
