Does everyone with blonde hair experience it turning green in chlorine?
Dyed blonde picks it up more because the hair is more porous. I’ve seen natural blondes turn green also, but not as quickly. Chlorine is blue..blonde hair is yellow. Blue and yellow make green. It shouldn’t happen after one day, but if you plan on swimming alot, buy products to remove chlorine from your hair. Besides turning blonde hair green, chlorine is extremely damaging over time. Joico Chelating Shampoo is great, because it removes the buildup. You should always try to wash or rinse your hair as soon as you can after swimming to get the chemicals out of your hair.
