Does everyone with an overactive thyroid get Thyroid Eye Disease?
Thyroid eye disease is common in Graves’ disease and many people with this condition will have some changes in their eyes. In the vast majority, however, the changes will be minor or temporary. Eye problems can occur before, during, and after problems with the thyroid gland have been diagnosed and treated.
