No. All students earning an AA degree must either take and pass the CLAST Exam or meet exemption criteria in order to graduate. You can be exempt from the CLAST Exam based on your grades in your English and Math courses and/or SAT/ACT scores. Please see an advisor to determine if you qualify for an exemption. Students earning an AS degree do not need to take the CLAST unless they are transferring to a university.
