A. No, there are certain occupations which are on the “Schedule A” list. These are occupations which the Labor department deems are in high demand in the U.S. and you can apply for a green card without first determining if there are any qualifiied citizens or permanent residents available. This list changes over time. Physical Therapists are currently one of the occupations on the Schedule A list.
