• Most workers in Ontario have the right to refuse any work which they feel will endanger their health or safety. Limited rights to refuse unsafe work are extended to Correctional Officers, Police, Firefighters, Health Care workers. These individuals cannot refuse unsafe work if the work is inherent to their job and if their refusal will endanger a member of the public.
