Does every woman experience menopause?
Yes! Although some women do not experience the side-effects most commonly associated with menopause, every women’s body at some point or other, stops producing female hormones. Researchers estimate that more than 1.3 million in the United States and 25 million women worldwide experienced menopause in the year 2000. There are about 470 million postmenopausal women worldwide, a number that is expected to increase to 1.2 billion by 2030.
