Does every New Person Struggle Keeping Up with the Service?
Most people who are new to the Episcopal Church have a hard time following the service at first. Relax, no one is “watching” you to see if you make a “mistake.” After a few Sundays it will all fall into place. The service is found in the red Prayer Book. The bulletin will help you find your way and from time to time the priest will let you know what page we are on. Most hymns are found in the Blue Hymnal. LEVAS is short for Lift Every Voice and Sing. It is the red and black book.
