Does Esurance offer auto insurance discounts based on occupation?
If you’re in certain professions, Esurance wants to reward you with a discount on your auto insurance policy. In California, policyholders who are currently employed in, or hold a license or degree in, Education, Engineering, or Natural Science (including mathematics) may qualify for auto insurance discounts from Esurance. We’re currently working to develop discounts for a wide range of occupations. When you get your Esurance quote in California, you’ll be shown an auto insurance discounts page where you’ll be asked if you or your spouse is currently employed in, or hold a license or degree in education, engineering, or natural science. If either, or both, of you specialize in one of these areas, simply check the box and the discount will automatically be applied to your premium rate.
