Does Estafeta provide insurance for shipments?
Estafeta places the same emphasis on individual services as it does on corporate accounts. Estafeta does not insure document deliveries but will return cost of service where appropriate. Estafeta provides courtesy insurance for the first $100USD declared value of packages. Estafeta does not provide cargo liability or all risk insurance but a shipper may pay an additional charge 5% of declared value. Standard claims are paid at 80% of declared value above Estafeta courtesy insurance. Estafeta has a standard Terms and Agreement which your agent has available.
