Does ESL Aequitas work with Windows 98/ME?
ESL Aequitas does not work with Win9x/Me.I get the following error “MSVBVM60.DLL” ( ie. “C:WindowsSystem32MSVBVM60.DLL is no valid Windows file”)!In this case you have to reinstall Visual Basic Runtime which you can get from the Microsoft site:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=7b9ba261-7a9c-43e7-9117-f673077ffb3cI have problems with my FPS while using ESL Aequitas!To make the size of the screenshots smaller we use JPEG compression. You can choose to use this JPEG conversion during or after the game. Of course having the compression happen after the game sounds better, but you have to think about the fact that Aequitas will then write BMP files to your harddrive during your game and these files can easily be 5MB and thus make your harddrive lag. It is advised to test if your CPU is strong enough to compress the BMP to JPEG during the game, as most modern CPUs should be able to easily do this without much problem.
