Does Equilibrium Arena Footing work well on an outdoor arena exposed to the elements?
Yes. Equilibrium Arena Footing performs exceptionally well in outdoor arenas. It does not break down under the elements or blow away with the wind and the large particles of crumb rubber allow water to drain very quickly through the material. Without an accumulation of moisture in the material, it takes longer to freeze in late fall and early winter. We are able to ride on our ring up to one month earlier in the spring and one month later in the fall than our former outdoor sand ring.
