Does EOP accept students who do not meet regular admission criteria?

Yes. Although most of SJSU’s EOP students meet the University’s regular admission requirements, the program provides access for a limited number of first-time freshmen who do not qualify for regular admission. Admission to the University through EOP is based on the student’s motivation and potential to succeed in college as EOP will not set up a student for failure.
