Does Enfield have any Childminding Networks?
• Enfield has four networks of registered childminders who have achieved the National Childminding Association’s (NCMA) ‘Children come first’ quality improvement award. • The award shows parents that the childminder strives to deliver high standards and works beyond the basic Ofsted requirements. • Network childminders are monitored by a support and network officer, and have regular opportunities to meet with other childminders. • They can also attend training workshops and use a toy library. • The Enfield childminding network is working towards ‘accreditation’, which means network childminders will become eligible to claim Nursery Education Funding (NEF) for three- and four-year-old children. • For further information, please contact the Support and Network Manager on 020 8350 4822.
