Does Endovenous Laser Ablation hurt?
By: Vanish Vein and Laser Center | Dr. John Landi, FACS, RPVI, RPhS Medical Director, Diplomate Am. Board of Phlebology Naples, FL The actual lasering portion of the procedure should be painless since local anesthesia is injected around the vein. There are a few needle pricks felt during the insertion of the tumescent anesthesia. My experience has been that the entire procedure is well tolerated by even those with minimum pain tolerance.
