Does Endermologie really work?
A recent clinical study used “microdialysis” to analyse the effect of Endermologie on eight women. It showed that after a course of 12 treatments, all women experienced a reduction in glycerol production (a building block of our fat tissue). The verdict, as deduced by Professor Lafontan, is that Endermologie improves the breakdown of fat tissue and promotes cellular drainage. This scientific finding comes as little surprise to the founders of Endermologie. In its original form, the Cellu-M6 Edermologie machine was developed to rehabilitate scars, burns and damaged muscular tissue. Cellulite reduction was in fact a surprising benefit. This breakthrough in modern technology resulted in the Cellu-M6 becoming the first cellulite treatment to be approved by the FDA (American Food & Drug Administration). These days there are more than 110,000 Endermologie treatments performed each day around the world.
