no, this is a myth. ones dealing with stress and worries can actually make menopause symptoms easier to deal with… if one deals with stress and worries positively prior to menopause, then your body has a great template work from when your hormones go berzerk brought on due to menopause. it never fails that just when have been there and done that, life tosses something new at us. these experiences are supposed to make us wiser, but for some it makes them more weary. find good in as many things as you can, and be happy that we are still alive to enjoy things as simple as the unconditional love of pets or the beauty and wonder of the night sky.

I hardly think so. Menopause is a physiological process in a woman’s body that is connected to aging. Like the onset of menstruation that some girls experience as early at 10 and some have to wait till they are 16, the same applies to menopause. Some women have early menopause and some have it much after 50. The only thing that might perhaps (I am not quite sure) matter is hunger, malnutrition. In such cases (like in Africa) women stop having their periods altogether due to hunger (it happened also in the concentration camps during the Nazi regime). But I would not consider it as menopause.
