Does Emory University or USC look good on applications?
Any college looks good on an application. There are some employees that look to see where you went to college but those are very small in number. In any case it won’t matter because the one’s that do care probably won’t recruit from the ones they don’t care about. In any case employees hardly ever care whether you went to USC, Emory, Harvard or Podunk U. As long as you attend an accredited college or university thats all that matters. I got my BA at a college with a lesser known reputation (at least outside of the area) and I was able to get job offers and work with people that went to big name universities. When I got my graduate degrees I went to really big and well known universities but I cannot say the names helped me at all. They just wanted to know that I had a graduate degree.
