Does EMC offer a pay-by-phone service?
Yes, we allow a one-time withdrawal from your bank account for application to your mortgage. You may reach this service through EMC’s Automated Mortgage Information Line at 1-800-723-3004. To use the service, you will need the bank or other financial institution’s 9-digit routing and transit number, and other information that should be preprinted on your checks. There is a transaction fee for agent and non-agent assisted payments made by phone. Payments made online are free of charge. Any pay-by-phone transaction completed after 4:30 p.m. Central Time may be processed the following business day. For customer convenience, on the 16th of the month and the last business day of the month, the processing time will be extended until 6 p.m. Central Time. If the 16th falls on a holiday or weekend, the processing will be extended to the following business day.
